To start off with, I took the Jack Daniels label and erased all of the writing. I then used the free transform tool to enlarge this to fit the size of the magazine advert. I had to move parts of the label to the middle of the page on each side so that there wasn't a large black gap in the advert and so that it looked even.
After doing the label editing, I used the text tool to create the information and websites at the bottom. I used Trajan Pro font because it is the bands trademark text font. I also put a release date on the bottom. The information I gave the advert was: release date, where to buy (hot topic and iTunes) and the bands official website.
After I had done that, I had to get the band name logo onto the advert. I went to Google and got the logo. I had to erase some of the colouring because it wasn't totally black but and had a hint of grey. So I painted over that using black which was the hardest part of the editing process as there were many little areas that I had to be careful with.
I then got the bands other logo off Google and using the magic wand tool, got it on to the advert after a struggle with the tool. Again, I had to rub pieces out due to the colour difference, but I got there in the end and put it where it originally said "No 7 Brand" in the oval shape.
